Question 1: I want to complete an activity using a different format than any of those listed. Is that allowed?

Answer 1: You can use ANY format or medium you like to complete any of the activities. Be as creative as you like.


Question 2: I completed a activity using mixed media on paper. It’s a real-world physical object. How do I upload it to OneDrive?

Answer 2: Please take a photograph of what you have created and upload the photograph to the OneDrive.


Question 3: One or more of your questions, activities or instructions doesn’t make sense.

Answer 3: If you have any questions, please feel free to email . If you don’t have a question but you do want to provide feedback, please upload a file named EXTRA to the OneDrive containing your feedback.


Question 4: I want to provide more information about how I responded to the creative prompts and/or provide feedback. Can I do that?

Answer 4: Absolutely. If you would like to provide any additional information on the creative activities you have completed or provide us with feedback, please upload a file named EXTRA to the OneDrive containing your feedback.


Question 5: What’s this all about. Why are you asking this stuff anyway?

Answer 5: We are trying to encourage people to share their experiences using their preferred ways of communicating and from the comfort of their own spaces. We've included a range of different activities to give people options. We hope these activities will inspire people to share a variety of different stories in whatever ways they find most comfortable without the pressure of having to talk directly to researchers.

Question 7: I'm worried I'm doing this wrong!

Answer 7: There is no “wrong” way to interpret or do these activities. Whatever way YOU decide to do them is the RIGHT way.


Question 8: How did you create the audio files for the pages on this website?

Answer 8: I used a free online text to speech tool called luvvoice.


Question 9: How long do I have to complete the activities?

Answer 9: Please complete and forward your chosen activities within 1 month of when you complete the consent form.


Question 10: Do I need to tell you beforehand what activities I've chosen?

Answer 10: No, you do not need to let us know which activities you have chosen to do.


Question 11: How long will it take for me to reieve my 3D printed token?

Answer 11: You should receive your 3D printed token within a maximum of 3 months after you have forwarded your completed activities. If you have not received it within this time please feel free to email .


Question 12: What exactly is the 3D printed token?

Answer 12: A design for the 3D printed token has yet to be finalised but based on the work-in-progress design it is expected to be about the size and shape of a 3D printed medal or coin.


Question 13: Does this research have ethics approval?

Answer 13: Yes, this research has been approved by The Faculty of Science & Engineering Research Ethics Committee of The University of Limerick, Ireland.
